Seasonal Recipes
My lifelong hobby is baking, and some of my earliest memories are of me baking with my Grandma. I love creating things to share with the people I love at special occasions, or just because, as well as perfecting recipes and using what's been grown in the garden. I'll be sharing with you my favourite tried and tested recipes, from chutneys and sauces to cakes and cheesecakes, and of course marking the most important day of the year- Pancake Day!
Here, I'll be diving into everything business related, including silver and gold smithing, as well as my values- mental health and back British farming. I'll be sharing my top tips to finding sea glass, and there will even be the odd seasonal recipe, as I love baking and cooking. As well as showing snippets of my life at home on our family farm in Worcestershire, there will probably be some posts related to Pembrokeshire, and the little caravan and camping site (also based on a farm!) set on the coast path between Saundersfoot and Tenby, which has become a second home to me.
Handmade Birch Designs- running a business and jewellery making
If you've ever thought about having a go at making your own journey, then stay tuned, because I'll be sharing everything you need to know to get you started, from materials and tools to my favourite suppliers. The joy of making something beautiful by hand (and playing with fire!) is something that I’m excited to share with all of you!
I'll be taking you behind the scenes of creating new collections, from inspiration to launch day, as well as talking about the highs and lows of running a small business
Back British Farming
Growing up on a beef and sheep farm, one of the things I'm most passionate about is supporting British farming. I’ve seen first-hand the dedication and hard work that goes into growing high quality, high welfare food, and I want to highlight the importance of buying British. I'll also be taking you along with me at key stages in the farming calendar, from lambing to silage making, showing you what goes into growing your food and maintaining the countryside.
Mental Health
Another HBD value is metal health, so I'll also be talking about why that is, ways to maintain mental wellbeing and also why it's a big issue in agriculture. I believe it’s important to talk about mental health with the aim to reduce stigma, raise awareness and foster a supportive community.

Whether you're a budding silversmith, looking to cook more with seasonal produce, someone who cares about mental health or just want to see some cute farm animal pics, there’s a space for you here. Stay tuned for updates!
